DepicT competition – $2000 for 90 seconds…

…but of course it’s not all about the money, as you could also win exposure at a short film festival and a place on a course at the National Film And Television school )

DepicT.org are inviting 90 second long entries for their annual short film contest.

This from their site:
Can you do it in 90 seconds?

If so, we want your mini-movie for the tenth DepicT! competition! That’s right, this unique ultra-short film competition has been on the hunt for a decade to find emerging filmmakers who can take imagination, style, emotion, drama, mystery, humour and passion and pack them into one captivating 90 second mini-movie. We love all kinds of films, from live action to animation, documentary to experimental, as long as they’re distinctive, fresh and engaging.

Take a look on their archive and you can see shortlists from previous years.

More info can be found on their site, the closing date for submissions is the 8th September.

It will be great to see the creative techniques Antics users will adopt to make the most of their 90 seconds.

Remember to post on our Community Forum if you need any help or tips. Good luck to everyone who enters!
